As an Integration Support Specialist, you’ll play a key role in supporting clients and external development teams as they integrate with Bede’s platform APIs. Sitting within Implementation Engineering, you’ll combine strong technical troubleshooting, front-end understanding and API integration experience with clear communication and stakeholder management.
You’ll work closely with clients, partners and internal teams to support implementation activity, resolve complex integration issues, provide best-practice guidance and ensure user journeys are integrated effectively across our platform ecosystem.
What you'll be doing
Integration & Technical Support
- Support external development teams integrating with Bede’s Platform APIs
- Provide best-practice guidance for integrating front-end applications with RESTful APIs
- Work closely with internal API developers to shape API design and ensure compatibility with client use cases and full user journeys.
- Supporting API Management configuration and setup, with the tooling including Microsoft Azure API Manager
Client Advisory & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Attend client calls, workshops, and technical sessions to provide expert-level support and clarity around API integration design and front-end implementation
- Coordinate with internal teams, product specialists, and client stakeholders to ensure alignment across complex, multi-system integrations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors and partners to ensure successful technical outcomes.
What we are looking for
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Strong proficiency in front‑end development (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Vue, CSS, HTML) and understanding of how modern apps consume APIs and Adobe content.
- Solid experience working with RESTful APIs for user‑facing applications.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot integration issues across web, mobile, API layers, and CMSs
- Strong collaborative skills for working across engineering, product and client teams.
- Experience with Agile delivery and tools such as Jira.
It’s a bonus if you also have:
- Hands-on experience with AEM – components, templates, content fragments, dispatcher basics.
- Adobe Target – activity setup, QA, implementation troubleshooting, client-side vs. server-side delivery.
- Adobe Campaign or Journey Optimizer – trigger setup, event-based workflows, transactional messaging integrations.
- Experience creating or consuming AEM‑based APIs or integrating AEM with external systems.
- Understanding of user journeys in industries such as online gaming, betting, or digital entertainment.
- Familiarity with software development best practices (code quality, Git workflows, code reviews).
- Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to work through complex technical challenges.
- Demonstrated interest in keeping up with modern front-end, API, and digital experience technologies.
- Familiarity of React Native applications and ability to debug client issues.
