BetSIGA is targeted to launch in Spring of 2027, building on SIGA’s current iGaming success.

SIGA (Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority) has selected Bede Gaming (Bede) as its new online gaming platform provider. Together, SIGA and Bede will design, build and launch BetSIGA, which will be available through a responsive website and dedicated iOS and Android mobile apps.

“BetSIGA is an important next step in SIGA’s long-term digital gaming strategy,” said SIGA President & CEO Zane Hansen. “This will be our own platform, built with a partner that shares our commitment to safe, responsible and engaging play, and it will continue to share success with revenue distributed to support First Nation communities and Saskatchewan.”

Following a competitive procurement process, SIGA is positioned to launch its own branded online gaming experience, BetSIGA, in Spring of 2027. The new solution on the Bede Gaming platform is planned to replace the existing PlayNow platform, which SIGA has operated in Saskatchewan as the province’s only legally recognized online gaming platform since November 2022.

Players will be migrated to the new BetSIGA site to enjoy an enhanced digital experience, which will be customized to its Saskatchewan player base. BetSIGA will be built on open, modular technology designed to grow with player expectations, regulatory needs and SIGA’s digital strategy. It is designed to support data, loyalty and personalization opportunities over time, connecting digital play with SIGA’s broader gaming ecosystem. Safe and trusted play is central to the platform, with identity verification, geolocation, anti-money laundering, security, player protection and responsible gaming controls.

“This partnership extends far beyond technology implementation. It represents a significant opportunity to combine trusted technology, deep sector expertise and true operational collaboration. SIGA has a clear and ambitious vision for the future of gaming in Saskatchewan, and we are proud to support the team in building a connected digital ecosystem that will deliver exceptional player experiences and sustainable long-term value,” said Colin Cole-Johnson, Chief Executive Officer at Bede Gaming. Â
