Static segmentation requires operators to manually and repeatedly update their audience segments, it lacks real-time adaptability to changing customer behaviours and can become outdated very quickly. At Bede, we identified this as a problem for our partners and began work on integrating a powerful new tool that provides a solution to these problems.
Here’s a breakdown of the five key features our new Dynamic Segmentation tool offers:
- Intuitive segment creation: Our customers can easily define exactly what critiera a player must meet to be within a given segment, in an interface familiar to them. For example: The player must have an active account, subscribe to email marketing and have staked £100 or more in the last 7 days.
- Scheduled Updates: There is now the option to schedule segment refreshes (segment population) and cleardowns (removal of all players from a segment). This creates a whole new world of possibility for journey automation, that previously would have required manual input or a third party.
- Personalised Experiences for players: With the ability to create these tailored automated segments, it allows our customers to provide more relevant and personalised content, promotions, and messages to their players.
- Operational Efficiency: The tool will significantly reduce operational overheads, Our customers now won’t need to work across multiple systems or rely on other teams and can set segments up to refresh/ cleardown in line with promotional timeframes, responsible gaming journeys and much more!
- Available via API: Segments are available via API and can be pushed to third-party systems like CRM tools, reducing the need for advanced segmentation on the provider side.
