Hear from some of our recent graduates about what it’s like to work at Bede…..

“I joined Bede Gaming as a Junior Developer right after my Masters Degree from Newcastle University and have been here for just over a year. The experience working at Bede has been immense as we try to be ahead or up to date with the current technology out in the market. The work culture in Bede has been excellent with a lot of guidance and help from the senior devs. One thing I like about working here is that you are always involved in finding solutions to difficult but interesting problems and things keep evolving to achieve the best. As a result, it has helped me get to a level of a senior developer very quickly and gain a more responsible role within Bede.”

Amila Prabandhika MSc Advanced Computer Science Newcastle University

“Joining Bede as a graduate was an eye opening experience, I got to work with a lot of new technologies with others who were passionate about their jobs and the work they’re doing. It’s a fun and friendly but driven atmosphere which helps to push your boundaries as a developer whilst not dreading work on a Monday morning!”

Martin Burdon BSc Computing Sunderland University

“When I joined Bede it became clear that there was a culture of learning and growth. I was empowered to work on meaningful projects from day one and was amazed at how many different technologies I was able to get my hands on as a junior developer.”

Daniel Lackenby BSc Computer Science (Games and Virtual Environments) Newcastle University

“When I started at Bede, straight from University, I was quickly welcomed into the team and ‘got my hands dirty’ from the start by being involved with real projects. Bede has a good developer led mentality throughout the company and seeing us expand in the short time that I’ve been here, as well as the vision for the company’s future is something that is very exciting.”

Liam Swinney BSc Computing Sunderland University

“What I like about Bede is how progressive it is and how it strives to use the best tools and tech. Because of the frequent changes to the set of tools and tech, I get to learn new things every day in a really great working environment”
